It remains relatively quiet on the development front in Barkham with both the Edney’s Hill and Blaygrove developments still with WBC for review. There is also no update regarding the Instalcom appeal held earlier this year. We have just been made aware of a new application for a proposed park homes site on Commonfield Lane, Barkham. The proposal is to demolish the existing properties and replace with 14 static mobile homes. The site is located at the Biggs Lane end of Commonfield Lane adjacent to the path leading to California Country Park. 

Although small and utilising an existing property, if approved this bring yet more housing to Barkham. Full plans are available on the WBC planning portal at:
