We have been made aware of WBC planning application 231990 to move the road entrance for the Leathern Bottel further up the Barkham Rd and to also provide access to the ‘equestrian centre’ on Limmerhill Rd.
Whilst this is just outside Barkham the application will affect residents. We feel if approved, it could make the entrance more dangerous being closer to the blind bend and dip in the road.
The application provides very little detail on why this change is required. The ‘equestrian centre’ is currently little more that a field where horses are kept. We do wonder if increased use or further develoment is beng planned?
