Leathern Bottel Update

We advised you recently of a planning application to move the road entrance to the Leathern Bottel public house (click here to view it.). We questioned the necessity of it. 

The reason has now become apparent, with the attached documents being mailed to residents in the vicinity. The developer is proposing 60 new homes are built on the west side of Limmerhill Road. The documents have been published on Facebook and subsequent comments are claiming the developer has also bought the pub. 

At this point in time we would advise not to send any comment to the developer, but wait until a formal planning application is submitted. Providing comments at the consultation stage can enable the developer to factor them into the formal application and say concerns have been addressed. We will advise you when any formal application is submitted.
