We advised you in July of a consultation by Anwyl Land Limited regarding a proposal to build up to 50 homes on land off Langley Common Road.
Â
A formal outline planning application has now been submitted to WBC and released for comment.
Â
The is yet another speculative application due to the lack of a local plan and as such should be rejected.
a) It lies outside the boundary of the Arborfield Green development. and would result in a loss of green space and associated wildlife.Â
b) It will add further traffic onto Langley Common Road. The entrance is very close to both the Biggs Lane and Eversley Road roundabouts and could make the new junction dangerous.Â
c) It will place further strain on already stretched services such as health facilities and schoolsÂ
The application can be viewed, and comments made atÂ

Comments should be made by December 1st.Â

We encourage you to make your views known to WBC. Please use your own words in any comments made. Your comments are important in helping us to prevent the over development of Barkham and the surrounding area.Â
