Sent by BVRA on behalf of Arborfield & Barkham Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group
The draft Arborfield and Barkham Neighbourhood Plan is now out for public consultation. You may have seen the consultation advertised in the parish magazines, where you will also find a pull-out response form. The full draft Plan document can be found on the NP website at www.arbarplan.com along with all the supporting papers. You can also respond to the consultation online through the website.
This is not the end of the process, but it is the beginning of the end! The draft Plan is also being reviewed by an experienced planning professional and, when we have his comments and the responses from the consultation, we will be able to make any final adjustments and submit the Plan to Wokingham Borough Council. WBC will then take the plan through the remaining statutory processes, leading to the referendum (yes, another one!).
The NP has been developed as 'a plan for the community, by the community', and we are desperately keen to make sure that it reflects the views of local people, so please do take part in the consultation if you can. We're holding a consultation exhibition at the Arborfield Green Community Centre on Saturday 23rd June, from 10.30am to 12.30pm, where members of the Steering Group will be on hand to answer questions.
