Instalcom Planning Appeal Update

We advised you in February 2022 (Woodlands Farm/Instalcom Update) that the appeal date had still not been set. We are now able to advise the appeal date has been set for 10:00 on 29th November at a venue still to be confirmed. The appeal is scheduled to last 2 days.

The deadline for objections to be sent to the Planning Inspector has officially passed.

However, we would encourage you to still make representations to WBC. The WBC officer has stated that emails from residents are helpful to show the strength of local feeling when the appeal happens.  Residents can still update the council with any concerns, incidents, problems, noise, dust etc with Instalcom Ltd running out of the byway onto School Road. Another key point to highlight is the planned closure of School Road further exacerbating the situation given the number of Instalcom vehicles making the situation even more dangerous. Please send your comments - and encourage your neighbours - to write to WBC if they haven't already done so.

You can email the generic inbox at  Planning.Enforcement@wokingham.gov.uk  which ensures all mails are logged and passed to the correct officer. However, if you already have contact with a particular officer you may continue to email them.

Please include reference REF - APP/X0360/C/21/3270397 in any communication to the council.

Our previous chain of Dev Watch email alerts regarding Instalcom can be read within the Dev Watch Alerts  The chain also contains reasons why this development should not be allowed.

Kind Regards
